Rebound Jerseys Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 22, 2022

Last Updated: August 5, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Rebound Jerseys Inc. ("Rebound Jerseys", "Rebound", "we", "our" or "us") on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on www.reboundjerseys.com (the "Site") and the services, features, content or applications we offer (collectively with the Site, the "Services"), including our iOS and Android mobile applications (the "Apps"). By using the Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Any capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings set forth in our Terms of Service at www.reboundjerseys.com/terms.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") gathered when you are using or accessing the Services. It also covers our treatment of any Personal Information that our business partners share with us or that we share with our business partners.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including any third-party websites, services and applications ("Third Party Services") that you elect to access through the Services (including the payment processor), or to individuals that we do not manage or employ. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an Account, you provide information that may include your username, password, email address, and (if you become a winning buyer or seller) your name, mailing address, and phone number.

User Content

Some features let you submit content (e.g., listing photos, descriptions, messages, feedback). Content you submit may be retained by us as needed for the operation and safety of the Services, even after you terminate your account, as permitted by law and this Policy.

Mobile Device Information Collection (Apps)

We automatically collect the following from your device when you use our Apps:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA/GAID, Vendor ID), device type, OS name/version, app version/build
  • Mobile network information (carrier, country/region, language)
  • Performance, crash, and diagnostic logs

Location Information (Apps)

With your permission, we collect precise or approximate location data while the app is in use to:

  • Verify seller location for fraud prevention
  • Show nearby deals and tailor content to your region

You may withdraw location consent at any time in your device settings. We retain location events for 90 days for fraud prevention and then permanently delete them.

Camera & Photo Library Access (Apps)

We request access to your camera and photo library so you can:

  • Photograph jerseys you wish to list
  • Select existing images for listings

The app only accesses photos you explicitly select—we do not scan or index your entire library.

Push Notifications (Apps)

With your opt-in, we send:

  • Order and shipping updates
  • Price-drop alerts for followed items
  • Messages from other users
  • Promotions/giveaways (marketing notifications are optional)

Device push tokens are stored encrypted and removed within 30 days after you disable notifications or delete your account.

Analytics & Crash Reporting (Apps)

We use third-party SDKs to improve stability and understand feature usage:

  • PostHog – anonymized event analytics
  • Expo Updates / Expo Insights – over-the-air update adoption metrics
  • Sentry (or similar) – crash & performance diagnostics

These providers may collect device identifiers and usage data. We use aggregated reporting and do not use these tools for cross-app tracking.

Advertising Identifier (IDFA/GAID) (Apps)

We may collect the device advertising identifier to measure the effectiveness of our own ad campaigns. We do not share IDFA/GAID with third-party ad networks for targeted advertising. You can reset or limit use of this identifier in your device settings.

Email Communications

We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us to improve customer service. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and include an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account alerts) may still be sent.

Cookies and Similar Technologies (Site)

We use cookies so our servers recognize your browser and understand how you use the Site. Most browsers let you disable cookies; some Site features may not function properly without them. This Policy covers our use of cookies only—not third parties'.

Aggregate/De-Identified Information

We may collect and share statistical, de-identified information about how users interact with our Services to help us and our partners improve offerings.

How We Use and Share Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and improve the Services (including recommendations and localized features)
  • Ensure technical functionality, prevent fraud/abuse, and analyze usage
  • Communicate with you about the Services (emails, notifications, messages you agree to receive)
  • Process payments (via our Payment Processor) and handle support
  • Comply with legal/regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms

We may share information with:

  • Service Providers/Agents (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, customer support, over-the-air updates) under confidentiality and data-use restrictions
  • Stripe (payment processing) — see "Financial Information" below
  • Authorities or third parties as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud
  • Affiliates/subsidiaries for purposes consistent with this Policy
  • Parties to a corporate transaction (e.g., merger or asset sale), subject to this Policy

We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not share data for cross-app targeted advertising.

Public Information About Your Activity

User-generated content you choose to make public may be visible to others and indexed by search engines. Please use caution when sharing information publicly.

Financial Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe, stored in the United States, and do not touch our servers. We may receive minimal payment metadata (e.g., transaction IDs, last4, status) for reconciliation, fraud prevention, and support. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If our practices change to include cross-app tracking, we will present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and honor your choice. You can change permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it. Parents may contact contact@reboundjerseys.com.

Your Choices & In-App Controls

You can use many features without registering. If you have an account, you can:

  • View/update account details: Settings → Profile
  • Manage permissions (location, notifications): Settings → Privacy
  • Export your data: Settings → Privacy → Export Data
  • Delete your account: Settings → Privacy → Delete Account

We may need to retain certain information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can also email contact@reboundjerseys.com for assistance.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by law.

  • Account/profile data & listings: retained while the account is active; deleted within 30–90 days after confirmed in-app deletion, except where retention is required (e.g., fraud, tax, regulatory).
  • Location events: 90 days (fraud prevention), then deleted.
  • Push tokens: removed within 30 days after you disable notifications or delete your account.
  • Logs/analytics/crash data: aggregated or deleted within 12–24 months.
  • Backups: overwritten on a rolling ~90-day cycle.

Actual periods may vary if we must preserve data to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including:

  • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
  • AES-256 encryption at rest (where applicable)
  • Secure token storage using Secure Enclave / Android Keystore
  • Least-privilege access controls and monitoring
  • Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for faster, secure log-in

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in Canada and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions) to protect your information.

Service Providers / Third-Party SDKs (Apps)

We work with third parties under contract; they may process data on our behalf solely to provide services to us. Key mobile providers include:

  • PostHog (analytics)
  • Expo Updates / Expo Insights (OTA updates, adoption metrics)
  • Sentry (or similar) (crash and performance diagnostics)
  • Stripe (payments)

Links to their privacy policies will be provided in-app or on our Site. We require providers to keep information confidential and secure, and to process it only as instructed.

Your Rights (Access, Correction, Deletion, Portability)

You can access and correct your personal information from your account settings or by contacting us. You may request deletion ("right to be forgotten") or a machine-readable copy of your data where applicable. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes and explain if we cannot fulfill a request due to legal obligations.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may request a notice of categories of personal customer information we share with affiliates/third parties for marketing, and contact details for such entities. Submit requests to contact@reboundjerseys.com. You may also request removal of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.

Account Deletion (Summary)

You can initiate account deletion in-app at Settings → Privacy → Delete Account or by emailing contact@reboundjerseys.com. Public activity created prior to deletion may remain visible where allowed by law and our Terms, but will no longer be associated with your account.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an announcement in the Services or sending an email before the changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
