Our moderators are subject matter experts with backgrounds in verifying authenticity of sports jerseys and memorabilia, high-ticket luxury goods, and sneakers. This diverse experience across the team helps spot fraud and counterfeiting tactics used across adjacent product verticals.
All listings go through a rigorous review process before being allowed to go live for sale on the marketplace.
Jerseys that are claimed to be signed, game-worn, or team-issued are not guaranteed to live up to that claim by Rebound. It is up to the buyer to investigate the claim and ask the seller for more proof. It is best to ask the seller for a COA (Certificate of Authentication) or other forms of proof (LOA, photo-matching, etc.). If you suspect the seller is lying, please report the listing to Rebound and we will review it.
We encourage sellers to always include as much detail as possible when posting a jersey for sale. In the cases of a high-value jersey or one that has a unique claim (game-worn or autographed by a superstar), it is best to provide proof upfront (COA, photo-matching, etc.).
If a community member disagrees with the status of an authenticated listing, Rebound users have the ability to report the item as inauthentic using the "Report Listing" button that can be found at the bottom of the listing.
